Mitten Sewing Kit

My first stitching project since I was at primary school! Lis & I sat down one morning to give the new Eileen Hull mitten die a test drive.

It easily cut through multiple layers of felt and we quickly had a pair of mittens each to start stitching together.  I chose to use red floss with a decorative blanket stitch round the edges. I’ve glued the rick rak on across the cuff of the mitten and layered up the hearts.  To finish off I used my crop-a-dile to punch two holes in the cuff and I set the holes with eyelets and threaded some black ribbon to be able to hang my mitten on my Christmas tree.  Not bad for a first project!

We have the mitten die available to purchase for £19 from the website (use link given above) and we have a Mitten Sewing Kit available to purchase for £6 should you wish to just have a go at sewing
